Donna Dabney

Donna serves as the Secretary of ONA and chairs the Nominating Committee.

In addition, she monitors small cell tower applications in the Old Naples area and advocates for replacing some palm trees with shade trees in Old Naples to help with lowering heat in urban areas that are heavily used by pedestrians and cyclists.  For the past two years, she conducted the annual survey of ONA members.

Donna is a retired lawyer with a practice that was primarily focused on governance, having provided advice to boards of directors of public and privately held companies for nearly 40 years.  She also served on a number of boards, most recently on the oldest national forestry board, and remains active with numerous organizations. Donna and her husband, Slate, purchased a home Old Naples in 2017 after spending several years renting or staying with friends in the area.  They also have a home in Virginia and 2 dogs and 3 grown children.
