Developers' Presentation for a Hotel on Broad Avenue

Mr. John Passidomo, representative of the developers proposing a new hotel on Broad Avenue and Gordon Drive, invites members of ONA to a presentation at the Naples Yacht Club, 700 14th Avenue South, on Wednesday, March 21, from 4:30 to 6:30PM.

ONA takes no final position regarding this matter at this time. Redevelopment of the abandoned plaza at that site would benefit everyone. However, our review of the proposal as it has evolved over the last year suggests that the current design is still too large to fit into the site without substantially impacting the surrounding neighborhood, and involves significant waivers and deviations from the City's Land Development Code to achieve.
